Obituary

On August. 25, 2021 Richard "Dick" Dore', a son, our brother, a beloved uncle, a friend, and keeper of our hearts passed into rest.

Dick's story began on November 9, 1945 when he was born to his parents Jeannette (Belisle) and Leo Dore' of Willow City, N.D.

Dick's careers were not jobs but new opportunities to make lifelong relationships. He spent 4 years in the United States Air Force based in London. He worked in a candy factory and at the Lockheed ship yards; he was a self-employed upholsterer and a long haul trucker. His later years found him in numerous capacities in the oil fields of Alaska, Texas and North Dakota.

Above all, Dick's passion in life was the love for his family and the many friends that he gathered along his life's journeys.

Dick was preceded in death by his mother Jeannette, his father Leo, younger brother Bob, his nephew Cody and niece Yvette. He is survived by his brother Tom and sisters Doris (Lloyd) Schell, Debbi (Norm) Seeberger, Helen Dore and Faye (Ron) Luna.

There will also never be another uncle like "our" Uncle Dick who held all the little faces of each of his 9 nieces and 3 nephews, 7 great nieces and 7 great nephews in his loving and caring hands and watched many of them grow to adulthood.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday October 9th at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N Wall St, Spokane, WA.
