Bob was born November 17, 1947, in Trail British Columbia, Canada to Ted and Eda Anselmo.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents.  He graduated from Rogers High School in 1966 and served with the Coast Guard during the Vietnam war.  Following his honorable discharge, he started working for Kaiser Aluminum.  After 53 years, he retired in 2019.  On April 14, 1992, he married his wife Laney and together they had 33 wonderful years together.  They traveled and took many trips to Hawaii, Hong Kong, most recently to Bora Bora and many trips to the Oregon coast.

Bob is survived by his wife, Laney, children Joe and Lisa, grandchildren Jared and Adam, sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Gordie Turlik, sister-in-law Donna Tinsly and numerous cousins in Spokane and Canada.  Also, special neighbors Dave and Shari.

A memorial service will be held at the Holy Cross Mausoleum Chapel (7200 N Wall St, Spokane WA 99208) on Saturday, September 27th at 11:00 AM.  The family invites you to join them for a reception at the Kaiser Aluminum Union Hall (14015 E Trent Ave, Spokane Valley WA 99216) following the service at 12:30 PM.
