Robert Donald Arnold (Bob) passed away on May 12, 2023.  He was born to Donald Arnold and Edith Magnuson on May 6, 1929, in Albany, California.  He was in the US Air Force and met his wife, Alice Mae Poitra, while stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base.  They married on April 14, 1952, in Spokane and raised 4 children, Bonnie Vorlicky, Linda Arnold, Mike Arnold and Lynette Heck.  Bob enjoyed sports, golf, bowling, playing basketball with his grandsons and participating in several Bloomsday Runs.  He managed several grocery stores in the Spokane area for over 30 years and retired three times, his last job was working as a courtesy checker.  He is survived by his wife of 71 years, his 4 children, 1 son-in-law, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy Gipson.
