Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that I announce that Robert Booth passed away in his sleep of a heart condition on February 16, 20026 at the age of 47 in Spokane, WA.

He was born in 1978 at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington State. He attended Ferris High School in Spokane where he played the trumpet. Rob enjoyed his work at Williams Inland Distributors, Mount Spokane as a chair lift operator, and Starleaf Growers. His true work passion was his contract photography work at Spokane's popular music venue the Knitting Factory where he photographed musical artists performing on stage while reveling in the live music. He loved meeting celebrities and getting to know them on a personal level. He rejoiced in taking nature and cityscape photographs on his numerous, glorious road trips along the coasts of Washington, Oregon, and California and the mountains and lakes of North Idaho.

He was extremely intelligent, quick witted, generous, and loyal beyond measure to his inner circle, especially to his proud mother with whom he shared the deepest of bonds. He had a zeal for camping and swimming in and along rivers and lakes; hosting wonderful birthday parties and barbecues for his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his idolized grandparents Richard and Joan Booth and his bold Uncle Todd Cobb. Robert is survived by his mama bear Lynda Booth; sweet godmother Judy Shearer: caring siblings Andrea Snelling (Jeremy) and Benjamin Mendez (Evelyn); his saddened children and stepchild Kaylynn Lynch, Isaiah Booth-Fleck, and Damien Elizabeth Teaford; darling grandson Trevor Abercrombie; and treasured aunts Elizabeth Bakken and Roberta Cobb.

Robert's funeral will be held Saturday, March 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Aloysius Church 330 East Boone Ave., Spokane, WA 99202. A reception will follow at 12:00 p.m. at O'Malley Hall below the church. All areas are handicap accessible. In lieu of flowers, a donation of cat food will be accepted at the funeral and reception to be donated in Robert's name to Catholic Charities of Spokane for those disabled in apartments with comfort cats in need of food.

He lived. He laughed. He loved.
