We are sad to announce the passing of Rose Jacoy Veach of Eagle, Idaho and Spokane, Washington. She died at age 92 on May 28.

Rose was married to the love of her life, Dale Veach, for 54 years before he passed away in 2005. She is survived by her only child, Vikki Veach Mattis, son in law, Steve Mattis and two grandchildren Mckall Mattis and Jaeger Mattis. Rose lived in Spokane for most of her life but moved to Eagle, Idaho in 2020 to be closer to family.

Rose had a long and distinguished career with the IRS as the office audit manager. She loved to talk about the fact that she was one of the first female auditors in the IRS and one of their first managers. Her family was very proud of her achievements. Rose loved to play both party and duplicate bridge in her spare time.
