Rudy Ray Hahn, born to Rudolph T. and Inez (Kinney) Hahn on June 27 th 1942 passed on Friday September 16 th 2022. Rudy was born and raised in Spokane Washington. He enjoyed an exciting upbringing in the Shadle Park district. He was proud to be a part of the first graduation class at Shadle Park High school in 1960.
After High school Rudy joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Honolulu, HI. He proudly spent most of his time in the Navy on a submarine. After the Navy, Rudy lovingly raised his family. He was a great Dad who loved coaching and family lake time. He supported his family well.
Rudy started his professional career in the bowling industry. He worked at Diamond Bowl for many years and finished his long tenured first career at Imperial Lanes. He loved people and enjoyed the lifelong relationships that were created by his many years working in the Bowling Alley. After Imperial Lanes, he worked to retirement in the construction industry as a Painting Contractor. He was meticulous, honest, and worked with integrity.
Rudy's personal interests include being a life-long Raider fan, dogs, classic cars, Gonzaga basketball, and Coca-Cola. He loved to make people laugh and feel comfortable. He was a legend at playing practical jokes on people as well. Rudy loved his family, friends, and most importantly the Lord very much. He was a genuine good guy.
Rudy is survived by Kurtis Hahn (Son), Kerri Etchegoyhen (Daughter), Damon Hahn (Son), Theresa Simington (Step-Daughter), Corey David (Step-Son), and Carolyn Prouty (Step-Daughter). Rudy also enjoyed his 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great- Grandchildren, with another on the way. He is lost but never to be forgotten.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 30, 2022 at 12 noon in the Mausoleum Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N. Wall, Spokane, WA .The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please donate to the Ronald MacDonald House in Spokane, WA. Visit Rudy's online memorial page at www.holycrossofspokane.org
