Shane Michael Mickelsen December 11, 1986 – September 18, 2023

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share the loss of our beloved "Shaners" who went to be with our Lord on the night of September 18, 2023. Anyone who was lucky enough to know Shane and be a part of his life knows how loving, funny, caring, and truly special he was! The humor and joy he brought as a son, brother, uncle, and as a friend will be missed. He left us way too soon, but we should all be thankful that we got to experience his light for the 36 years he was with us. Shane was very talented at many things, but his greatest talent will always be how genuine and authentic he was, he never wavered from his true self and that is what made him so loved and unique. As a family we are devastated, and it will be hard for a while. We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers and know that with the struggle, there is also celebration as we know he is in a better place, making jokes and doing everything he loves.
