August 30, 1957 – April 15, 2023
On April 15, 2023, Shane O. Moore, surrounded by his family, went home to be with his Lord and Savior where he was reunited with his loving parents, Norma A. and Terence R. Moore, his beloved son Noah Shane Moore and many others he loved so.
He is survived by his wife Lynn, and siblings: Terry, Brian, Margaret, and Denise. Shane was deeply loved by his grandkids, nieces, and nephews, whom he would call his "peeps". He had many friends and dear ones he considered family. His love of family and friends was unwavering, and often celebrated in dance to "We Are Family" and the tunes of Earth, Wind and Fire.
Shane was born on August 30th, 1957. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1976. Shortly after, he joined the U.S. Navy and retired 20 years later. He was a proud veteran who was always willing to share a story or two! After retirement, he bought property in Pend Oreille County, which quickly became his favorite place to be and open to all.
A funeral will be held in his honor on May 6, 2023, at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum at 2 PM with an inurnment immediately following. After the inurnment, a reception will follow at the Audubon Masonic Temple, 2821 W Northwest Blvd. His online memorial page can be found at www.holycrossofspokane.org
