Shannon Paul Phillips, husband and beloved father of 4 passed away July 11, 2021 at the age of 50.
Shannon was born in Lubbock, TX to Karen and Roderick Phillips and was the youngest of 4 children. He lived most of his life in the Spokane area, he attended school in the EVSD, Sedro Woolley Job Corp, and the Art Institute of Seattle. Shannon was a member of the Oneida of Thames tribe located in Ontario Canada.
One of his greatest accomplishments was helping to raise his children with his loving wife Shannon Cahill. He loved being a father and cherished his time raising Dylan Cahill, Roderick Phillips, and Maggie Phillips. Although, and always kept Andrew Olson, in his thoughts and heart.
Shannon was an avid golfer and member of Indian Canyon and Esmeralda men's clubs. He made it his quest to golf as many courses as possible in the PNW. He loved heavy metal music and knew every Metallica song by heart. His real love and passion was for cooking, he was able to share his talent at many fine dining and area restaurants in Spokane. In 2020 he enrolled at August Escoffier Culinary Academy.
He is survived by wife, Shannon Cahill; his children, Dylan Cahill, Roderick Phillips, Maggie Phillips, and Andrew Olson; his siblings, Tonia Roeder, Seneca "Butch" Phillips, and Connie Mott, in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery, 17825 E. Trent, Spokane Valley, WA on August 13 th at 10:00 a.m
