Obituary

Sharon Louise Day passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024 after suffering long term effects of a massive stroke that occurred in July of 2023. She received excellent care at Sacred Heart hospital and was then able to transfer to Regency Skilled Nursing facility where she fought hard to recover. Sharon was 79 years old at the time of her passing. The family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff at both facilities who worked diligently to help Sharon recover.

Sharon was born in Spokane WA on October 1, 1944. She remained in Spokane her entire life. She attended Rogers High School, where she graduated in 1963. During her senior year of high school, she met the love of her life, Douglas John Day Jr. They eventually married on January 15, 1966 and at the time of her passing they had been married for 58 wonderful years.

Sharon spent 35 years of her life as the Registrar at Gonzaga University School of Law, where she was able to help others and offer guidance in her kind and caring way.

Sharon is survived by her husband Douglas John Day Jr and three loving children and 8 grandchildren, Tom (Brenda) and their four children Megan, Alex, Zach and Mitchell, Kristine (Todd) and her two girls, Amanda and Kayla and Bryan (Missy) and their two boys Cameron and Connor.
