Born January 13, 1934 in Spokane, Washington to William and Dorothy Meyers . Shirley Marie Erickson passed away Saturday June 22, 2024. Graduating from Marycliff High School in the Class of 1952, Shirley married Gerald Richard Erickson in 1954 in Superior, Montana. Shirley worked as chief payroll officer for the Washington District Community Colleges for over 30 years Shirley and her husband Gerald loved to travel. Together they went on nine cruises around the world and spent many days boating on Lake Coeur d'Alene. Shirley had a fond affection for their four Caryn Terrier dogs. She was a parishioner at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Spokane Valley, Shirley is survived by her three sons, William Erickson, Barry Erickson (Pam) and Paul Erickson and one daughter, Julie Erickson. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; parents, Wiliam and Dorothy Meyers; one sister, Dorothy Farrell. She had five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Holy Cross Cemetery 7200 N. Wall St., Spokane, WA.
