Stephen Dale Hart (age 74) passed away March 15, 2022. Steve was born in Spokane, WA on May 31, 1947. Steve graduated from Gonzaga Prep in 1965 and joined the Army in August of that same year. He served 3 years active duty and 34 years in the Army Reserves, where he earned the rank of Sergeant Major. He also worked as a civilian for the Department of Defense as the supervisor of a heavy equipment maintenance shop, AMSA 80. Retiring in 2007.

Steve and Ann met in 1962 and married in 1968. They raised their two children, Stephanie and Jeff in Otis Orchards, WA.      Steve loved traveling the United States, his winters in Florida, golf and his "pub crawl". One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffery Hart, and is survived by his wife Ann, his girls Stephanie and Jody and eight grandchildren; (Stephanie) Khursten, Holden, Haidyn, Jaxson, Morgan, Logan; (Jody) Joe, Anabelle (Tim) and Yvaine our one great granddaughter.

Steve was the oldest of five siblings, Tom (JoAnn) Hart, Dan (Valerie) Hart, Sue Grizzle, and Sharon (Rob) Cavanagh.

Vigil with Rosary will be on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 7:00 pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Spokane, WA. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, April 29, 2022 also at St. Thomas More Church. Followed by a Military Inurnment Service at the Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA. at 1:45 P.M.
