Terrance Layne
Biggs
Apr 8, 1952 — Jun 12, 2026
In Loving Memory of Terrance Layne Biggs
Terrance Layne Biggs, age 74, passed away on June 12, 2026.
Terrance (Terry) was born on April 8, 1952, in Spokane, Washington, to the late Raymond (Ray) and Esther Biggs. He grew up in Spokane, attending North Central High School before answering the call to serve his country. He was drafted into the U.S. Army, serving honorably from June 9, 1972, to June 7, 1974.
Following his military service, Terry poured his hard work and dedication into supporting his family. He founded and ran Genesis Crown and Bridge, working long hours making dental crowns and managing several accounts. He initially operated his lab out of Cheney, Wa before later moving the business directly into his home.
Terry was a man of profound faith and a devoted member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, where he served as one of the deacons and lifted his voice in the church choir. His strong religious beliefs were a cornerstone of his life, and he was known for his passionate heart and his earnest desire to baptize everyone he could.
Above all, Terry cherished his family, holidays, and gatherings. He created lasting traditions and priceless memories with his kids, from carving pumpkins to taking trips out to Nine Mile for lively games of family kickball and skipping rocks. He had a deep love for music and played both the guitar and the piano. Terry was also famously witty, bringing laughter to his loved ones at the most random moments. Whether he was playing Texas Hold 'em at the casino or teaching all of his children how to play Spades around the family table, he was always happiest surrounded by those he loved.
Terry is survived by his brother, Michael (Mike) Biggs, and his sister, Patricia (Pattie) Woodrow. He leaves behind his children: Sheri Vinson, Jennifer Farr, Joshua Biggs, Zachariah Biggs, and Nathaniel Biggs. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Heather Opitz, Hannah Pittman, Jacob Vinson, Jonathan Vinson, Bentley Farr, Ivy Farr, Chloe Biggs, Sylas Farr, Natily Biggs, Jasper Farr, Fletcher Biggs, and Allison Biggs; and his great-grandchildren, Kaydence and Lucas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond (Ray) and Esther Biggs, and his brothers, Larry Biggs and Robert (Bob) Biggs.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Holy Cross Cemetery (7200 N. Wall St., Spokane). Celebration of Life to follow.
