Obituary

Terry Browne, 82, of Spokane, was called by God on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

Terry was born July 29, 1940 in Trinidad, the eldest of four children. He married his sweetheart Judith in New York in August 1966.
A science enthusiast, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree studying chemistry and engineering.
With professions including chemist, technology analyst, and engineer, his career spanned from chemical plants to shuttlecraft mission support.
He enjoyed witnessing shuttle and rocket launches, and airshows at various bases throughout the country.
Raising five children, their family adventures took them from New York to California, and finally Washington.
Family trips included a cross-country trip in a station wagon, and excursions from the piers of the oceans to the snow of the mountains.
Dining out, taking care of the yard, pets and exploring nature and new places were favorite activities.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, one sister, 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
Terry was truly a devout Catholic and knew every priest and church or mission wherever the family journeys took him.
He always thought of the welfare of others first.  Caring for family, friends, or strangers, Terry put his needs second to everyone else.
His beloved wife Judy was everything to Terry, and for 56 years their love and devotion for each other and the Lord were witnessed daily.
