Terry J. Cossette was born in Scobey, Montana on May 23, 1936, to Don and Alice Cossette. He passed away on April 25, 2024 in Spokane, WA. He graduated from St. Xavier's Grade School, Gonzaga High School, and Gonzaga University. He married Barbara Hutton on Oct. 24, 1959, in St. Aloysius Church. He was a loving dad to his two sons Tim and Dan. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Terry spent his entire professional career at United Paints and Coatings. He enjoyed his work and the many wonderful people he met along the way.

Terry was an outstanding left-handed pitcher, throwing two no-hitters at Gonzaga university. In his 1956 season he pitched one of the classic games in G.U. history, a perfect game with twelve strikeouts. He was inducted into the G.U. Hall of Fame on Nov. 6, 1991.

In his younger years, Terry enjoyed baseball, handball and running races. In retirement, Terry continued to attend G.U. baseball games and volunteering at the St. Charles Food Bank.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Alice Cossette and his sister, Julie. He is survived by his brothers, Denny (Corinne) and Mike (Carole). He is also survived by his wife, Barbara, and his children, Tim (Nancy) and Dan. He also leaves his two special granddaughters, Katy, and Emily.
