In Loving Memory of Valerie

Valerie peacefully passed away at home on May 29, 2025. She will forever be missed by all who knew and loved her. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Valerie lived a life rooted in compassion, generosity, and unwavering faith.

She is survived by her beloved children: Dariun Ashby, Gabrielle Ashby, Danielle Denmon, Darius Denmon, and Scott Cozza Jr., as well as her seven cherished grandchildren. Valerie's love for her family was boundless, and she poured her heart into every role she held—whether as a nurturing mother, a guiding grandmother, or a supportive sister.

Valerie was an incredibly strong, God-fearing woman whose faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a source of strength, inspiration, and unconditional love not only to her family but also to the many lives she touched through her work. In her later years, she dedicated herself to Human Services, a field she was deeply passionate about. Her clients often found in her a beacon of hope and kindness.
Valerie's legacy is one of service, love, and resilience. She gave selflessly, uplifted others, and left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. Her memory will live on in the lives she shaped and the love she shared.

She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.
