November 6, 1931 – October 25, 2021
Mrs. Violet Franetich of Spokane, Washington; born to Carl Cottrell and Flora Bradford in Kalispell, Montana on November 6th, nineteen hundred and thirty-one went home to her rest October 25th two thousand and twenty-one surrounded by those who loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Franetich, her daughter Charlotte Franetich, and grandson Ricky Franetich.
Violet is survived by her children; Carla Pintler, Tony Franetich, Bruce Franetich, Nella Anderson (Mark), Donna Carrier, Ray Jay Franetich, Marla Armstrong, Valerie Brooks (Chris), Raymond Franetich (Jayne), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Violet grew up across the mid and inland Northwest; she attended the Indian school in Pierre, South Dakota. She met and married Raymond Franetich in 1952, and they had ten children together. Violet was a dedicated Catholic and parishioner at St. Joseph's Parrish, previously Our Lady of Lourdes and St Anthony's. She focused primarily on being a dedicated homemaker, nurturer, mother, often a second mother to children around the neighborhood, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
