Obituary

Virginia Leigh Adsit, affectionately known as "granny", passed away on July 17, 2024 at her home with her husband and children present. Virginia was born in Spokane, Washington where she lived all of her life. She attended schools in Spokane, graduating from Lewis and Clark High School and Spokane Community College. Virginia became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital. Virginia also worked at Eastern Washington University and retired in 1996.

Virginia married Bob Adsit on September 3, 1988. They traveled to New Orleans for their honeymoon which was the beginning of many trips to follow. Over the years they continued their travels vacationing in Hawaii, Alaska, Florida, Arizona plus adding a number of Cruise Ship vacations to the list. The Panama Canal was a favorite. One very special trip was going to Tahiti together. Virginia enjoyed shopping, gardening and spending quality time with Bob, her children, family and friends. She was a quilter as a hobby and as a business. She loved her puppies and leaves behind her precious puppy Princess.

Virginia's greatest achievement was her 8 children that she raised and supported in a loving home. She worked hard to ensure her children were educated and successful.
Gatherings and visitations were the highlights for her. Virginia is survived by her sweet, loving husband Robert, her 8 children, step-daughter Stephanie Adsit, and the joy of being "granny" she is survived by her 20 grandchildren, 28, great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
