Our brother, father, grandfather, uncle, sibling and friend Bill Cerenzia born December 10, 1946 passed away July 15 th , 2022 at his home on Half Moon Prairie. Bill operated Cerenzia Trucking for many years in the Spokane area and touched many lives with the generosity of his time and resources. He married Sherry Staley in 1969, their sons are Andrew and Matthew. Bill served in the U.S. Army's 709 th Aircraft Maintenance Battalion, 9 th Infantry Division with combat duty in Vietnam where he was recognized with four service medals including the Army Commendation Medal 1 st Oak Leaf Cluster for his "outstanding actions" and "dedicated initiative". Bill's family greatly appreciates the extraordinary care provided to Bill by the medical and support staff at Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane.
He was preceeded in death by his parents Paul and Arlene Cerenzia and his brother Gary. He is survived by his companion of 28 years, Marjorie Bell, his sons (Andrew, Matthew), grandchildren (Kaitlyn, Colby, Lucas), his brother Richard (Cheryle), sisters Pauline (Denny), Peggy (Mike), Penny (Dave) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. A graveside committal service will be held at Wildrose Cemetery on July 25 th at 10:00 AM.
