Bill was born to Francis and Evelyn Clark in Williston ND. In 1958 his family moved to Spokane. After graduating from Rogers High School, he joined his father and worked for the Great Northern Railroad. In 1966 he married his high school sweetheart, Marcella Flory.
He is survived by his loving wife and three children; Gary (Mary) and daughters; Cathy (Steve) Mazulo and Teresa Smith. He was blessed with ten grandchildren that, when he was healthy, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and going on adventures with. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, his brothers Fred and Steve Clark and sister, Jeannie Clark along with numerous nieces and nephews.
After the railroad, Bill worked for Kaiser Trentwood making friendships that lasted long after his 28 years and retirement until health issues slowed him down. He enjoyed woodworking and building things, including the home in Elk. He loved the outdoors, nature, hunting, fishing, RV traveling and camping. He loved playing hockey and watching sports. He, most of all, loved his family and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
A committal service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in the mausoleum on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM with entombment to follow.
