Overview of Cremation Plans

Holy Cross Cemetery and Funeral offers three cremation plans to best meet the needs of our faith community. We are here to guide you through this process and to ensure that your wishes are fulfilled. Traditional Cremation Plan


The Traditional Cremation Plan includes services and staff for the vigil – visitation, funeral mass at your parish or a funeral service at the funeral center, and the committal. See the drop down box for the complete list of services provided:

  • Basic services of Funeral Director and staff
  • Transfer of remains to Funeral Center
  • Use of facilities and staff for two-hour visitation/vigil at parish or Funeral Center
  • Use of facilities and staff for funeral mass/service at parish or Funeral Center
  • Committal service at cemetery
  • Embalming and refrigeration up to 96 hours
  • Dressing and cosmetics
  • Funeral coach (hearse)
  • Service utility vehicle or flower car
  • Crucifix (if applicable)
  • Cremation
  • Memorial package


Memorial Service Cremation Plan


The Memorial Service Cremation Plan includes services and staff for a memorial service at the parish or funeral center and the committal. See the drop down box for the complete list of services provided:

  • Basic services of Funeral Director and staff
  • Transfer of remains to Funeral Center
  • Use of facilities and staff for identification/special viewing
  • Use of facilities and staff for memorial service at parish or Funeral Center
  • Committal service at cemetery
  • Refrigeration up to 96 hours
  • Funeral coach (hearse)
  • Service utility vehicle or flower car
  • Crucifix (if applicable)
  • Cremation


Direct Cremation Plan (Without Visitation or Viewing)


The Direct Cremation Plan includes services and staff for the direct cremation and committal only. See the drop down box for the complete list of services provided:
